Each role may require its own area of technical or domain expertise, and interviews are tailored to best evaluate your knowledge of that domain. Depending on the role you have applied for, your interview could include project discussions with product engineers, marketing experience reviews with other marketing experts, or discussions about sales strategies with our sales experts. Experience questions

We want to hear about your experiences - achievements and challenges alike - to discover skills that will enable you to prosper at Tata Play. Come prepared to discuss some important experiences in a detailed way, focusing on your specific role and describing the key actions that were critical to success. Typically, such questions, start out with phrases such as, "Describe a time when" and "Share an example of a situation where". Listen to the question and think of an event in your past, and answer it in the following way:

  • Situation - Describe the context within which you performed a job or faced a challenge at your work, while volunteering or in college etc. Be as specific as possible.
  • Task - Next, describe your responsibility in that situation.
  • Action - You then describe how you finished the task or attempted to meet the challenge. Focus on what you did, rather than what your team did.
  • Result - Finally, explain the results caused by the action taken. Use quantitative data to establish the credibility of your results. Concentrate on what you accomplished and what you learned.
