- How much balance will be deducted for a technician visit?
The amount deducted depends on the type of service requested and your location. If applicable, the exact charge will be communicated by the technician during the visit.
If the service is covered under warranty, the visit may not be chargeable. However, material or physical damage charges may apply even under warranty. For out-of-warranty services, visit charges will apply.
For chargeable visits, the amount will be deducted directly from your Tata Play wallet balance. There is no need to pay the technician in cash.
Note: Ensure you have sufficient balance before the visit. You can recharge at any time using the Tata Play Mobile App or website.
- Will my validity change if a technician visit charge is deducted from my account?
Yes. Since the amount will be deducted from your wallet balance, it may affect your account recharge due date.
- Can I pay the technician directly instead of the amount being deducted from my balance?
No, Tata Play does not accept cash payments for service visits. If the visit is chargeable, the amount will be deducted directly from your Tata Play wallet balance.
If a technician asks for a cash payment, please ensure the same amount is credited to your Tata Play account.
