Sharmila Tagore is a popular Indian film actress known for her work predominantly in Hindi cinema. Her performances over the course of her career have received two National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards.

Having achieved success at a young age, Bengali actress Sharmila Tagore appeared in numerous classics before making the jump to big cinema, earning renown as an actress. And later achieved legendary status thanks to her critically acclaimed films opposite Superstar Rajesh Khanna.
